UNITED have reached a watershed moment in this tumultuous season.
Fleetwood Town visit Plainmoor tomorrow and manager Chris Hargreaves is well aware that a Yellow victory is absolutely crucial to our fight against relegation.
Although well placed in the table, Fleetwood are suffering their own patch of indifferent form and the Gulls will be doing everything to galvanise the Yellow Army for a huge encounter at TQ1.
‘’I watched them against Newport on Tuesday,’’ said Chris. ‘’They’re not scoring goals at present and trying different formations, so it’s hard to set up our team because they’ve had four different formations in the last four games.
‘’We will pick our shape on Saturday and try to play to our strengths. We want to assert ourselves in the game, be on the front-foot and get the fans right behind us. We will enjoy the battle because this is how it has to be.
‘’The players really are trying every day. I think a lot of this club, everybody knows that, and I’ve got nothing to hide. It’s really important for a club like Torquay to have access to the supporters because we’re all in it together.
‘’We need more fans through the door and that’s quite obvious. Times are hard and we wanted kids to come in for free on Saturday. We have to get the community together. The fans are unhappy with the position of the team and we need to galvanise everybody.’’
