United take on one of the longest journeys of the season with Torbay Mini Travel.

United take on a mammoth 692 mile round-trip for their National League encounter with Barrow A.F.C on Saturday.

The squad left this morning at around 8:30am to take on the over 300 mile trip to their hotel for their overnight stay. If the coach driver takes on the M6 then the squad will have the choice of sixteen motorway service stations! Stafford, Keele, Sandbach are all possible stops.

Torbay Mini Travel is taking the team to and from the match and the squad were busy plugging in a variety of phones, laptops, and tablets just before leaving on their mammoth trip. Finding out the WiFi password is essential too!

The Yellow Army will be taking the same journey and player-manager Kevin Nicholson appreciates that they face a long journey.

"Our support is amazing," said player-manager Kevin Nicholson.

"Anyone going to Barrow is slightly crazy - brilliantly crazy! We'll make sure that we show our appreciation no matter what the result at the end of the game. Hopefully we'll go there and we'll give them something to cheer about!.

"Our support all season [has been great], and for the last 2 or 3 years particularly. It's easy to support a team when they are up at the top. It's easy to support us when we were flying when I first signed and those first five years i was here when it was all great. To stick with the club when things have been - on and off the pitch - tough going is a testament to how good our fans are. I've got nothing but respect for all of them."

We wish the team and the Yellow Army good luck and hope that the team bring back three points!
