STOKE City will be the visitors for tonight's grand opening of Bristow's Bench at Plainmoor - kick-off 7.30pm.
After years of hard work and preparation, we are delighted to declare this magnificent new grandstand open for business and Thea Bristow will cut the ribbon with Stoke manager Tony Pulis around 15 minutes before the match starts.
"The completion of Bristow’s Bench is a massive boost for the club and Thea Bristow should be very proud of what she has brought to the club, and I’m sure her husband would be very proud as well," said United boss Martin Ling.
"On the pitch, tonight will be our biggest test of the pre-season campaign and another big stepping stone ahead of the first competitive game of the season, when Leicester visit us in the Cup in eight days time."
