We Have Got The Momentum

United boss Paul Buckle gave his thoughts straight after the 2-1 win over Burton Albion that cemented United's place in the play-offs: 'I must say, first and foremost, well done to Burton Albion. They have played the right way this season and they are worthy winners of the title. I think today we played very well, the performance was there and we have got the momentum going into the play-offs.
'We dominated the possession during the first half but went a goal down. It is something we have got used to this season. We have dominated games and haven't always got our reward. Today the lads stuck at it under difficult circumstances, if we hadn't done it today there would have been many upset people but we have reached the play-offs for the second year running so a lot of credit must go to the players. We are going to try our utmost to make it count.
'It was a great finish from Chris Hargreaves for our first goal. Chris has led the team brilliantly this season. We need people to step forward in these games and Chris has done it in the last two games as well as anyone. The equalizer got us back on track.
'The supporters were out of this world, they stuck with us after a nervy period of draws. We will look forward to Histon, it is important that we recover quickly from this match and get back on the training pitch and make sure we are right for next Friday.'
