We Could Have Won By More

United boss Paul Buckle is well aware that, even after the 2-0 win over Histon in the 1st leg of the play-off semi-final, the job is only half done: 'We now have to go out and get a result at Histon, there is no time for back slapping in the changing room. We have to have the right mentality for the match on Monday night. I asked the players to go out tonight and win, to be strong against a very physical team and from there try and get the ball down and play. We tried to bring some quality to the game and I think we did that tonight.
'We produced a bit of quality for our goals. We got on to a loose ball and worked the overload well and Nicky finished brilliantly. Lee Mansell fed the ball in beautifully for the second goal and Tim (Sills) did what all good strikers should do and got across his marker and was on the move to head the ball back where it had come from. It was a fantastic goal and for Tim to be playing with three fractures in his face shows the measure of the man.
'We had a good surface to play on and with the conditions helping the ball to zip around we had a fast game, we looked a good team tonight. We could have won by more tonight but I'm grateful to have the two goals.
'We are going to go to Histon with a strong mentality, we know the ball is going to come into our penalty area but we have to go there and try and win the football match. It won't be anything different to what we have tried to do home and away this season. Let's go there and try and win the game.'
