Kevin Nicholson has committed the next 12 months to Torquay United today by signing a new 1 year contract with the Gulls. Kevin made 53 appearances for United in the season just completed, scoring twice. This is on top of another half century of appearances last season and Kevin has become a firm crowd favourite in his time at Plainmoor. His contract ran out after Sunday's play-off final but Kevin was always keen to remain with the Gulls and stay settled with his partner and new baby daughter: 'This has been an unbelievable time for me. I had three targets which were the safe arrival of my daughter, to win promotion and to sort out a new contract. It has all happened so quickly but I couldn't be happier right now.'
