Ashley Completes Loan Move

Plymouth Argyle striker Ashley Barnes has today completed a loan move to Plainmoor. The 20 year old forward has featured in a number of Argyle's Championship matches this season and will remain at Plainmoor for the rest of the season. Ashley is pictured below with United's other recent signings Lathaniel Rowe-Turner (left) and Guy Branston (right) after a training session at Plainmoor.

We spoke to Ashley and asked him how the move came about: 'Paul Mariner spoke to me last week and said that Torquay were asking about my availability and he thought it would be a good idea for me to come here and get some games under my belt. Things are very positive at Argyle for me and I'm looking to come to Plainmoor and make a good impression. It's nice to be staying on loan at a local club and I have come here to do a job and hopefully score some goals.'
