United have today signed former Wolves & Celtic full back Mo Camara for the rest of the season. Mo was a free agent after leaving St.Mirren during the transfer window. There will be more on this story shortly.

United chief executive Colin Lee gave some background to the club's latest moves in the transfer market which included the signing of the experienced Mo Camara: 'I have worked with Mo before and he is a model professional with exactly the right attitude we are looking for.

'We have now made two signings this week (Ashley Barnes & Mo Camara) which is a big positive for the club and we will continue to try and improve the team over the next few weeks. We are in discussion at the moment with one player in particular and if we could get him to Torquay he would make a huge difference to us. Yesterday (Wednesday) we actually made an offer for a player having met with his manager and we are waiting for a reply on that. He is a very experienced player and we watched him play in a match on Wednesday and he was outstanding and would improve our team immediately. As always there are discussions to be had which include the location of Torquay and our League 2 status because this is a Championship player. We are setting our sights high and we have specific targets. We are working extremely hard to improve the team for the run-in to the end of the season.'
