United have completed the signing of Swindon Town winger Lloyd Macklin on a month's loan. Lloyd will go straight into tonight's squad for the trip to Rotherham.

The 18-year-old right winger has struggled for first team opportunities since recovering from a leg fracture earlier in the season, and will be grateful of the opportunity to get some valuable game time with Paul Buckle's side.

Speaking to Swindontownfc.co.uk ahead of the move, Macklin said: "I'm pleased to have the opportunity to get some first team football.

"It's been hard for me to get back in the team here since my injury so I'm hoping to get down there and do well, then come back here after the month and start challenging for a place again."
