United 0 Dagenham & Redbridge 0

United boss Paul Buckle gave his thought's after the 0-0 draw with Dagenham & Redbridge at Plainmoor: 'We are very pleased to be four games unbeaten and a clean sheet tonight is a big positive for us. We have played two good teams in Accrington and Dagenham who are around the play-off places and we have shown that we can compete with them, a win and a draw is a good return.

'It was a tight game and we set ourselves up with two banks of four with Eunan (O'Kane) and Nicky (Wroe) in the wide areas because we knew from past experience that Dagenham can return the ball quickly and we had to ready for that. We got to grips with Dagenham tonight and we pushed forward when we could and had a lot of possession although both teams could only seem to create half chances. Lee Mansell's shot against the crossbar was worthy of a goal, it was a great strike and had that gone in I think we could well have gone on and won the match.

'We have been working hard on set-plays in training and Eunan's delivery right at the end was wonderful. I thought the ball was going in and if we keep on supplying that kind of delivery we will cause teams problems. You can see why Dagenham are near the top of the league, I thought Benson and Nurse were a threat on the break and we had to be wary of that but Mark Ellis and Guy Branston coped well at the back and I felt we were in control for most of the evening.'
