The ongoing saga of Mustapha Carayol's summer move to Lincoln City from Plainmoor has today been resolved. The two clubs have come to an agreement which means there will not now be a need for a tribunal hearing on Wednesday, 18th August as originally planned.

United will receive £35,000 in staged payments from Lincoln in regard to Mustapha's move to Sincil Bank after he rejected a contract from United at the end of last season. As Muzzy is a player under the age of 24 there are rulings in place regarding contract offers by both the player's current club and potential new employers and this was proving a stumbling block but this has now been resolved to both clubs' satisfaction.
