Adam Stansfield Football Foundation

On August 10th Exeter City striker Adam Stansfield lost his brave battle against cancer. The passing of Adam at the tragically young age of just 31 puts any club loyalty or footballing rivalry into sharp perspective and everyone connected to Torquay United FC and the wider community as a whole was shocked and saddened by the news.

Wednesday, 25th August is the day of Adam's funeral and the people of Exeter will be paying their respects to him, there are also opportunities for Torquay United supporters show their respect for Adam and support for his family by way of contributing to two funds which have been setup.

The Adam Stansfield football foundation has been setup to support and encourage participation in youth football across the South West.

The Adam Stansfield Family Fund

The Adam Stansfield Family fund has been set up to donate money to support the family after the sad passing of Adam Stansfield on Tuesday 10th August 2010
