With United's best ever start to a season now in the record books at four wins Bucks has plenty to be positive about as the team prepare for the visit on unbeaten Accrington Stanley to Plainmoor on Saturday. United travelled over 1,200 miles getting to and from last week's three away fixtures and Paul is keen to take the many positives from that quickfire run of games: ''Looking back on the last week we have to be pleased with the return. A good away win at Port Vale, a hard fought cup win in midweek and we very nearly got something from Southend with a second half performance that probably warranted at least a point. I won't use the amount of miles we have covered and the shortened recovery time as any excuse for not winning on Saturday because I would rather concentrate on the huge effort the players, staff and supporters put in to it. There is no reason why we cannot start another run of positive results starting with what is another big game for us against Accrington.''

United now have a sequence of three home matches out of four in the remainder of September which will see Accrington, Macclesfield & Aldershot turn out at Plainmoor and the Gulls make one away trip to Stevenage on the road. There are, of course, no guarantees that home games will automatically return three points but with Bucks' home record as United manager being so impressive we should be in for plenty of entertainment.

United's reserves play their second Totesport.com Combination match of the season on Tuesday evening when they make the short trip to St. James' Park where Exeter City await. As with the reserve win over Swansea City last month United will field a strong line-up which should feature the likes of Danny Potter, Kieran Charnock, Damon Lathrope, Eunan O'Kane, Lloyd Macklin and Lathaniel Rowe-Turner among others. Kick-Off is at 7.00pm and entry is £3 for adults & £1
