THE race is on for United's Player of the Year and it is sure to be the most intriguing vote in years.

So many Gulls could state a case for following in the studmarks of last year's winner, Guy Branston, and it is a sign of the incredible season we have enjoyed at Plainmoor.

There are two ways to cast your vote this year. First of all, you can submit your choice online by e-mailing our dedicated address poty@torquayunited.com

We will also have a number of ballot boxes available for you to submit paper votes at the weekend clash with Southend. These will be stationed in the Family Stand and on the Popside as well as in the Gulls Nest and No.10's restaurant.

The vote will close at 5am on Friday, April 27 and the winner will be presented to the Yellow Army prior to our final home game of the season against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday, April 28.
