Scott signed for the Gulls in September 2008 on loan from Shrewsbury and made his debut against Wrexham in a 1-1 draw. The 'Bevanator' has since played a huge part in the team breaking a club record for minutes without conceding a goal in league matches during the end of the 2009/10 season and the beginning of this campaign and with his agility and size (6'6'') Scott has made the goalkeeping position his own. He signed a permanent 18 month contract with the Gulls in December 2008 and only injury stopped him from completing the end of the 2008/09 season between the sticks. Last season Scott shared the 'keeping duties with Michael Poke but as the 2010/11 season began Scott was once again the man with the gloves.
