10. LEE PHILLIPS
Lee was a hugely impressive rugby player in his youth but made an important choice while at school to concentrate on his football. Plymouth snapped him up and he could not stop scoring for the youth and reserve sides. At just 15 years old he was the youngest player to appear for Argyle's first team but disaster struck when he broke his leg aged 16. His career faultered slighlty through no fault of his own and he ended up on loan at Weymouth and , eventually, moved to Exeter City where he continued to score goals regularly. In the summer of 2007 he followed Paul Buckle to Torquay and the goals have continued to flow. Lee's physical presence and aggression are causing defences problems in every match he plays in partnership with Tim Sills.
