Mark is a local lad and started his career at Exeter City where he impressed so much as a youth player that Bolton Wanderers saw enough to buy an 'untried' centre back. He joined The Gulls on loan last season and gave a number of excellent man-of-the-match performances at centre half which impressed Paul Buckle enough to offer him a full-time contract this summer. One thing is for sure, Mark will fight hard to gain and keep a place in the United line-up.
