Mark is a local lad and started his career at Exeter City where he impressed so much as a youth player that Bolton Wanderers saw enough to buy an 'untried' centre back. While at United he forced his way into the starting line-up and has shown himself to be a 'no nonsense' defender including some solid man of the match appearances.
