TORQUAY United completed the signing of experienced striker, Shaun Harrad, on a deal until the end of the season, on January 11th 2016.
The 31 year-old started his career with his hometown club, Notts County, where he came through the ranks to make 29 appearances as well as having spells out on loan at Gresley Rovers and Tamworth.
He joined Burton Albion in 2005 and helped the club secure their Football League status with 16 goals during their promotion campaign four years later.
A popular figure amongst The Brewers’ faithful, he scored 21 League goals during their first season in The Football League before being signed by Northampton Town at the turn of 2011.
His next move took him to Bury, from where he was loaned to Rotherham United and Cheltenham Town.
Making a return to Notts County at the start of 2014/15, he spent the second half of last term out on loan back at Cheltenham Town.
Harrad joined the Gulls in January 2016 and was an important part of United's 'Great Escape' from relegation from the National League.
While close to re-signing for the Club in the off-season, Harrad returned to Plainmoor in January 2017 on a deal until the end of the season.
