WE are extremely proud of the extensive facilities available at Plainmoor to supporters with a disability.
Our magnificent new grandstand, Bristow’s Bench, has space for 18 wheelchair users and their carers. Nine of these are available to home fans and nine to supporters from visiting clubs, and all offer an elevated view of the pitch.
In addition to this, we have 10 spaces for wheelchair users and their carers behind the goal in the Family Stand. These are only open to home fans and are at pitch-level.
Ambulant disabled supporters pay normal price for tickets to matches at Plainmoor, while carers come in for free.
The additional services we offer include a dedicated blind commentary service, which is completely free. Commentary for blind and partially sighted people enables them to fully enjoy the match-day experience by receiving clear and concise descriptive information on where the play is positioned during a game.
Finally, we also have a dedicated stair-lift to our Gulls Nest bar, enabling all fans to have access to the hospitality areas at Plainmoor.
