Our JPL sides were back in action again this week, as they continued their impressive progress across the age groups. Our Under-15 side travelled to Kidderminster Harriers for a tough Elite South fixture, with the Worcestershire-based side coming out on top 4-0. There were contrasting fortunes for the two age groups involved in JPL action this weekend. Our Under 13s secured a marvellous 3-1 win in their Shield clash at home to RTC Wiltshire. Wiltshire began the stronger of the two sides, and struck first after a shot from distance beat Will Hughes in the Torquay goal.
Torquay United’s Under-18 side maintained their excellent start to the season with an emphatic 8-3 away win at second-placed Wimborne Town. A hat-trick from Jacob Evans, plus strikes from Luke Selley, Louie Slough, Josh Hurran, Sam Bosworth and Olaf Koszela sealed the victory, which leaves United three points behind leaders Bristol Academy at the top
