UNITED have been drawn at home to Elburton Villa in the Preliminary Round of the FA Youth Cup, with the match to be played at Plainmoor in the week commencing September 3.
It is further fantastic news for our Football Development Programme to be involved in the prestigious FA Youth Cup, following on from our admission to the South-West Counties Youth League.
Elburton Villa play in the South-West Peninsula League and the winner of this tie will move forward to a First Round qualifying match at either Frome Town or Wells City.
The Under-18s squad are formed in partnership with Torquay Academy, with striker Olaf Koszela training regularly with the first-team and others have been involved in pre-season.
The Football Development Programme at Plainmoor runs from Under-8 to Under-18, with the Under-11 to Under-16 age groups competing in the Junior Premier League.
