TORQUAY United will take a step into the unknown on Saturday, as we play host to Truro City FC for the first time in our new ground-share arrangement.
As a thank-you to Torquay United’s magnificent season-ticket holders, this match between Truro City and Billericay at Plainmoor will be completely FREE of charge. For any United season-ticket holders not travelling to our opening game at Chelmsford, please come and join us for some live football.
If you have not yet collected your season-ticket, please arrive early and visit our hospitality reception, where season-tickets can be distributed. Truro City season-ticket holders are kindly advised as part of a reciprocal agreement that they will be given free entry to the Torquay United fixture against Bath City on Tuesday evening.
The pricing structure will be the same as for Torquay United home fixtures and we will only be opening Bristow’s Bench for this game, plus access to the Gulls Nest bar via the Family Stands. As it will only be Bristow’s Bench open, Torquay United season-ticket holders are advised that we cannot reserve your normal seat for Saturday’s game.
Adults – £15
Over 65 & Students with NUS Card – £11
Under 18 – £7
Under 7 – Free with a full-paying adult
All supporters are invited to join us in the Torquay United No.10s Restaurant for a special match-day offer of chilli (vegetarian option available) and a pint for £10. The offer is open to all fans and any Billericay fans wishing to take up this offer will be escorted around to the away section of Bristow’s Bench after lunch. Please contact our Hospitality Manager Bernie Phillips 07940 222800 or email@example.com to book your table in the restaurant.
Please be advised that no alcohol is to be consumed within the stadium. However, the Gulls Nest bar will be open before, during and after the game for Truro City (and Torquay United supporters). Plainmoor is officially a segregated ground, as per our licensing agreement with the local authority, but we do have the fantastic Boots and Laces situated just outside the stadium and we would be delighted to welcome our visiting fans from Billericay to join us here for any pre or post-match sustenance.
