Midfielder Damon Lathrope has signed for Woking FC for an undisclosed sum.
The transfer brings an end to a second spell at Plainmoor for Damon. The first lasted from 2010-2014 when he was a part of the side that reached the League Two Play-Off Final in 2011. He rejoined the Club in 2016 after a spell with Aldershot Town.
“Damon has come to us and he has some personal and family issues that he needs to deal with straightaway, and he needs to live closer to his roots to do this,” said TUFC general manager, Geoff Harrop.
“As a family orientated club, we’ve taken the decision to allow Damon to move to Woking FC. Everyone at Torquay United would like to thank Damon for his service to the Club and wish him every success for the future.”
