The Club is currently on the lookout for a volunteer to take up the role of Gilbert the Gull, the official mascot of Torquay United Football Club.
We would like to thank Steve Jegat for his time as Gilbert the Gull. He injected much needed enthusiasm and energy during his time as Gilbert. Steve has decided to leave the role and we are grateful for his fantastic efforts as Gilbert.
The role of Gilbert the Gull is one that is treasured by the Club. The feathered mascot is responsible for undertaking light-hearted mischief on match days, and welcoming visitors and mascots to Plainmoor.
Applicants should be available for most, if not all, of the remaining fixtures for this season and the person chosen will be subject to a DBS check.
