We held our first comedy gig in conjunction with Surgery Comedy at Plainmoor on Sunday, and people can’t stop talking about what a success it was!

“I thought it was excellent. I’ve been raving about it to everyone.”- Karen Lowrie, Hanson Watkins Davies.

“Fab day!” – Julie Danby.

“Superb!” – Dave Allen, Travis Perkins

Torquay United pitchside announcer Noel Brodie heads up Surgery Comedy.

“Everyone had a wonderful time,” said Noel.

“I don’t think people knew what to expect and I don’t think people expected the quality to be as high as it was. They were blown away by the standard, especially Louis Burgess and our headliner, Patrick Monahan. Everyone was superb.

“Next time we appear at Plainmoor, we have booked Suzie Bennett who is one of the top comics from the South West. She has been touring abroad all summer. Topping the bill is Adam Bloom who is a very well-known comedian. He’s an Edinburgh veteran, and has made numerous TV and radio appearances. He’s an extremely accomplished comedian.  David Arnold is returning as MC for the gig. We’ll add more names to the bill soon.

“Nobody ever leaves the surgery disappointed. Laughter is the best medicine, and if you need a laugh then come along to the show!”

On the bill Sunday (15/10/17):

Patrick Monahan

Noel Brodie (MC)

David Arnold
