The 1st team players will be wearing a poppy on their shirts on Saturday as part of our Remembrance Day plans.

The shirts will be put up for auction at some point in the near future and will raise funds for the Royal British Legion.

“It is a symbol of everyone coming together and remembering those that gave their lives so that we can live ours,” said Luke Young.

“It is something very important. We remember everyone we have lost, and that the lives that we have is a gift that they gave us,” said Vincent Dorel. “Everyone will be joining in with a minute’s silence. They have always been impeccably observed since I have been in England.”

“We remember everyone we have lost and it’s great that we can start the game with a poppy on our shirts,” said new loan signing, Jazzi Barnum-Bobb. “Football is a game we take very seriously, but there are times like this when we realize there are more important things in life.”
