The Senior Gulls are pleased to announce that guest speakers in the shape of left-back Liam Davis and Torquay United first team coach Shaun Taylor will be joining us on March 26th.
Liam has been an ever-present in United’s bid for promotion this season, having joined the club following spells with Oxford United, Cheltenham and Yeovil amongst others.
Shaun, meanwhile enjoyed a highly successful career with the likes of Swindon Town and Bristol City before moving into coaching. Having previously held positions at Forest Green Rovers and Plymouth Argyle, Shaun returned to the club last year, where he now combines his first team duties with overseeing the progress of our U18 squad.
The Senior Gulls is an initiative for the Yellow Army from Torquay United Community Sports Trust. It is open to all adults in the community, and will take place every month in the Boots and Laces bar at Plainmoor.
As well as guest speakers, we will hold special workshops, a Torquay United raffle, a quiz with prizes and an opportunity to meet with fellow-supporters and officials from the club.
The afternoon with Liam & Shaun will take place on Tuesday, March 26 from 2pm – 4pm in Boots and Laces. Membership for the Senior Gulls is just £10 per year and pre-booking is essential for this event.
