TUCST Round-UP

TUCST coach Micky Hunt gives us a rundown on some of the weekend action.

TUFC U11s

“The U11s Yellows played brilliantly against PG Academy. This is the team coached by TUCST head, Craig Hutcheson. They played the right way and kept the ball very well. They played the ‘Torquay United way’, playing out from the back and through the thirds,” said Micky.

“We had a few of the U10s playing a year up in that game. Finley Herbert played very well and scored a hat-trick. Joe Hoskings played at right-back and joined the U11s too.”

Junior Premier League

TUFC U12s

“I watched the U12s, and Saints South West U12s were very impressive. Our U12s worked very hard, but their opponents were better on the day.”

TUFC U15s

“I watched the U15s game and that was a very good game. They played very well against South Dartmoor which is linked to Chelsea FC. The same team last season won everything in the U14s category. We gave them a game, and I think the score should have been a little closer.

“Overall, there were good performances from all of the teams. The coaches are happy and we are moving in the right direction.”
