TORQUAY United is pleased to announce our chosen charity for 2018 will be the Special Care Baby Unit situated on level 3 of the Maternity Unit at Torbay Hospital.

We will also be making donations to the NICU baby unit in Bristol, where babies born before 32 weeks of pregnancy are generally taken for specialist care.

Being the chosen charity for 2018 gives the Special Care Baby Unit and NICU an opportunity to conduct bucket collections at Torquay United first-team games, benefit from Plainmoor events, and receive publicity through our media channels to hopefully generate further support for the Unit.

Torquay United’s first contribution to the Unit will come from money raised by the current ongoing Poppy shirt auction, so that means that half will be going to the Royal Britsh Legion and half to the baby unit, get involved now – https://www.torquayunited.com/news-special-edition-poppy-shirts-auction/
