United defender Kyle Cameron was keen to look ahead, rather than back, following the defeat against Bath City as the team reflected on their first defeat in 17 league games.

“It was disappointing, we were obviously going there to win and take the three points away and put ourselves in a real good position” said Cameron

“There were things in the game that we didn’t manage properly, turning points in the game that we don’t need to look back and mention again. We’ve just looked through the game as a group and we know what we need to do to kick on and bring that energy back for Saturday.”

United face Oxford City at Plainmoor (3pm KO) on Saturday with the hope of getting back to winning ways. The future is very bright according to Kyle.

“We need to remember that’s the first defeat in 17 games, we won the majority of those so we need to keep that in our minds – we’re still in the driving seat. We’re a point ahead even though Woking have a couple of games in hand, but it’s still down to us until they play their games in hand and see what happens.”
